Genetics of water-borne bacterial pathogens


1. Trasncriptomic analysis. We are fully equipped to perform microarray analysis. We are using microarray slides produced by Mycroarray.

InnoScan 710 microarray scanner, funded by Canadian Foundation for Innovation.

2. Flow Cytometry. We are using flow cytometry to determine the portion of live and dead cells in a population of bacteria, such as Legionella pneumophila.  

guava easyCyte flow cutometer, funded by Canadian Foundation for Innovation.

3. Bioreactor. We use our 3-vessels bioreactor to set up microcosm to study the behavior of Legionella pneumophila
